Not me, the book Sad Mum Lady by Australian writer Ashe Davenport. I read it, and recommended it back to the person who recommended it to me, because My Brain. Sad Mum Lady was very darkly funny and an easy read. Not sure about you but short, discrete chapters make me happy when a whole book or life story seems inaccessible. It was very relatable to those who get ragey, have childhood triggers for days and all around “is this really my life now?!” motherhood moments.
Content warnings include birth/medical trauma (in a motherhood/PND memoir is that kind of assumed?), body image, and animal death (rats not beloved pets, and if you have rats as pets like my niece used to, we need to talk).
